GSTS Eid al-Adha celebrations – MFT 09/07/2022

On 9th July our Muslim team members began four days of celebrations for Eid al-Adha –  one of the most important events on the Islamic calendar.

It falls on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th and final month in the Islamic calendar. Eid al-Adha – the ‘feast of the sacrifice’ – is a time for loved ones to come to share gifts and enjoy feasts together. It’s the second Eid celebration celebrated annually, following Eid-al Fitr which fell in May of this year.

For those on duty we provided food, drink and cards from all at GSTS. Our Operations Director, Gareth Conlon and his son Patrick personally delivered the contributions and soaked up the atmosphere.
