Contract win Halewood International

GSTS have been appointed the security provider for Halewood International at their sites in Huyton, Lancashire and North Wales. As a Liverpool based company GSTS are delighted to be working with one of Merseyside’s top companies who are constantly going from strength to strength and developing new and exciting brands and opportunities.

In November Halewood will open a new distillery, complete with two bars, a Gin Lab and a Bartender School, on Castle Street Liverpool.

This new assignment holds personal memories for our CEO Dave Potts – “I first met John Halewood the founder, when I was a detective in Bootle CID in the mid 1980’s (a warehouse he was renting at the time had been burgled). He was a true gentleman and always genuinely interested in people. He had great charisma. I saw him several times when I was on duty at the Grand National and he would always stop and have a chat – It’s a real honour for GSTS to be supplying Halewood and we have already found the company has great outlook and drive, very much in John’s image’.

This contract award cements GSTS as a preferred supplier in the food and drinks security sector.  Dave explains “ The food and drink industry has specific needs and requirements, with similar risks. We are finding significant crossovers in the way we provide services in this sector and we find that our clients are benefitting from our collective experience.”
