King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla visited two GSTS sites in one day

On Wednesday 26th April King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla visited Liverpool to officially turn on the lights of the Eurovision stage at the M&S Bank Arena.

Their packed schedule saw them visit two GSTS sites. In the morning they flew into Liverpool John Lennon Airport where we operate the landside security. Then in the afternoon they visited the prestigious Liverpool Central Library where we also provide the security. The royal couple visited the library to mark its twinning with Ukraine’s first public library, the Regional Scientific Library in Odessa.

Then it was back to Liverpool John Lennon Airport to fly back to London and prepare for the Coronation on Saturday, 6th May.
